Promotes cycling in the capital region. Advocates for cyclists. Meets last Thursday of the month, LaSalle School, Western Ave. (corner of Partridge St.) , Albany.

Activities –
- Informs the public via a contact list having 1,000 emails.
- Hosted Bike EXPOs for five years. Expanded and combined this into an Earth Day Expo and Earth Day bicycle ride.
- Installed Dero Bicycle Fixit Stations at six branches of the Albany Public Library with grant funds.
- Developed an interactive BikeAlbanyMap with a grant arranged by New York State Assembly Member Fahy to help people safely navigate the streets of the City of Albany.
- Volunteers conduct trail surveys and counts for other organizations and government.
- Hosts the annual Ride of Silence commemorating people on bicycles who were killed while riding.
- Active membership on the Capital District Transportation Committee’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee, Capital Region Complete Streets, the City of Albany’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee, Livingston Avenue Bridge Coalition, South End Bikeway Link Task Force, www.transporttroy.com, and the Protected Bicycle Lane Coalition.
- Sponsoring member of the League of American Bicyclists, New York Bicycling Coalition, and Parks & Trails New York.
Many members are League of American Bicyclists League Cycling Instructors who conduct “how to ride” workshops.
