Bike the Branches Ride

Celebrate the 100th anniversary of Albany Public Library with us!
Sign in 11:15 – 11:30 AM, Saturday October 14 at:
Pine Hills Library, 517 Western Avenue, Albany NY 12203

Ride to six libraries, with informative historical talks at each branch.
•  Free admission
•  Distance: 9 miles; Ride time: 2 hours
•  Total elevation gain: 415 feet – includes some hills.
•  Return to Pine Hills Library 1:30 PM.

Safety
•  Helmets and signed waiver required
•  Minimum age 12; riders under age 18 must be accompanied by adult
•  To make sure your bike is in good working order, do an “ABC Quick Check” in advance:

Waiver
To ensure that all riders understand the inherent risks of cycling on public roadways, and for insurance purposes:
all riders must sign a standard League of American Bicyclists waiver form.

Waiver forms are provided at the ride, and signed on site; no need to bring any with you.

Parking
If driving, please use street parking instead of the library’s own lot. All local street parking is free on Saturday, including Western Ave and Madison Ave.
